I'm Paula Carreira, singer, composer and music producer from Brazil, living in Germany. I'm working in 6 different projects: Alternative (authoral music with Julakim), Heavy Metal and Blues (Aerophobia, it's my cyberband with musicians in Brazil, some of them I've never met), Jazz and Bossa Nova (Nova Brasil and Trio Interplay) and 2 duos, Paula Carreira und Humberto Colacio (Samba from the 1930ies) and Paula & Geovany (Brazilian music). We've been playing around Frankfurt am Main and region. I'm a very flexible musician, my voice range is very wide and I love, love challenges. My dream bands are 2:54 (and I still didn't find a Shoegazer project!...) and Editors. Main Influences are Jeff Buckley, Iron Maiden, Doors, Howling Wolf, the Sundays, Frank Sinatra, Olivia Newton-John, Rita Lee, Nelson Gonçalves and my grandpa;).
